General Ledger

The General Ledger application summarizes by account, all financial transactions created each month.  These accounts are used to print various financial reports that measure agency earnings. General ledger accounts also serve as controls on major fiscal data files in the system.  Multiple companies and divisional accounting are supported.

Application Description

As transactions are entered in Production Billing, Media Billing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable applications, general ledger accounting entries are automatically created.  Each entry details source, journal and other important information such as client or vendor number and name, invoice or check number, job or estimate number, and date of transaction and application sequence code. General ledger information can be viewed in the account detail as soon as the entries are saved.

Multiple financial report options allow the user to request information in as many formats as necessary.  Reports can be printed for any period including prior fiscal year periods.
