Orders / Estimating
Scheduling jobs,
assigning tasks and communicating this information within an organization is
essential for efficient job management. Employees need to know what they
must do and when it is due. Managers need the flexibility to quickly revise
due dates and reschedule work as necessary.
Clients also expect
accurate job cost estimates. Many times the billing amount on a job is
limited to the estimate. In order to accurately provide this information,
agency personnel must be able to quickly access information from prior jobs
of a similar type. With this information, as many estimates as necessary can
be prepared to provide clients alternatives as to quantities, etc.
Application Description
Historical information
is used as a starting point in managing and estimating current jobs. This
data is then modified to reflect the requirements of current jobs.
Client cost information is posted to the
job, for billing, or for comparison to actual cost. Traffic information is
provided to assist employees in monitoring their assignments and expected
completion dates.
